War (2007)

What a terrible waste of great talent! Where do I start to explain how much this film sucked!
The plot was merely there to serve up action on, which in most parts was ridiculous and boring!
The Triad and Yakuza characters screamed Stereo type!
Devon Aoki spoke some of the worst Japanese I have seen since Sean Connery in Rising Sun. While Jason Statham spoke some of the best. (great actor bad movie)
Jet Li was good as usual but this film was well below him, as it was Statham
And the “Twist” thrown in at the end was beyond ridiculous it was almost like a mental fart the writer had when he realized the script sucked and needed to tie it all up some how!

The Plot:

After his partner Tom Wynne and family are killed apparently by the infamous and elusive assassin Rogue, FBI agent Jack Crawford becomes obsessed with revenge as his world unravels into a vortex of guilt and betrayal. Rogue eventually resurfaces to settle a score of his own, setting off a bloody crime war between Asian mob rivals Chang of the Triad's and Yakuza boss Shiro. When Jack and Rogue finally come face to face, the ultimate truth of their pasts will be revealed.
